People always ask me, "Why do you like to shoot weddings?" The answer is pretty simple. This is one of the most important days of your life and I get to be part of it. Not to mention, I get to be around a lot of happy drunk people. Had I gone into being a mortician or a transmission specialist, my clientle would most likely be the opposite. The happy part anyways.

For me music and photography are interchangeable, both work with each other. They are like a good marriage. They can compliment, enrage, bring out the best and worst in each other. But most of all, combined, they will make you think. Like a piece of modern art that you understand, literature that needs no interpretation.

Animals

Whether photographing endangered Tahitian land snails or the neighbor's cat, I always try my best to relate to the animal. Whether it's a slow approach or to simply shoot at eye level, they are exactly like humans, just fuzzier. I use the same philosophy if I'm shooting a CEO, I always need to gain acceptance first. You can't take a astounding photo without trust.
